On The Nude: What a wonder is the human form. In art we celebrate it's power, it's athletic precision, it's elegance, it's frailty and even it's ultimate limitations. The nude figure looses the chronology of fashion, is liberated from the convention of modesty and is retuned to the natural state at which it was born. The body is the temple of the spirit and the finite exterior of the soul. It is iconic, a sacred and universal symbol. Often used as a metaphor for a state of mind or a human condition, the nude figure engages, inspires and enlightens.
